Fifth + Bank | Boutique Apartments in the Glebe

The Neighbourhood

The Fifth + Bank apartment building by Minto Apartments is a seven-storey urban infill project connected to a two-storey heritage building located at 99 Fifth Avenue between Fourth and Fifth Avenue in Ottawa’s Glebe neighbourhood.

Fifth + Bank is one of the most desirable addresses in the city – in the heart of Ottawa’s most historic and charming neighbourhood known to be a wanderer’s paradise with so many shops, cafés and restaurants to suit every taste bud. Steps away are Lansdowne, home to CFL football team the Ottawa RedBlacks, Cineplex Cinemas, Whole Foods, the Aberdeen Pavilion, tons of delicious restaurants and of course, easy access to the Rideau Canal.

Luxury Living + Premium Amenities

Chmiel Architects was brought on as the Project Architects for Fifth + Bank developing the working drawings and assisting with construction administration. This project consists of 163 boutique-style luxury apartment units, two floors of underground parking and lots of amenities including a lounge, seating area, dining room, prep kitchen, and even a dog spa washing station. Residents will also experience the best premium building amenities including a Technogym which features an array of smart equipment, on-demand training experiences, as well as on-site and virtual concierge services.

Amenity spaces, public corridor finishes, and all interior suite finishes were designed by the team at 4té Inc.

Exteriors + Views

The views from any of the apartment suites in this building are as good as it gets.

The building’s architecture consists of a two and three-storey brick podium that conveys a townhome aesthetic consistent with the character of the neighbourhood. Above the podium, the upper floors are terraced back and clad with a light-coloured ironstone block and grey metal panel.

The project contains two interior courtyards on the east and west sides of the building that not only provide outdoor and entertainment space for the tenants including an outdoor BBQ area, but also help transition the building scale down to the adjacent low-rise residential community.
