On September 25th, 100 golfers participated in the 2nd Annual Keltic Cup Charity Golf Classic at the Marshes Golf Club. More than $20,000 was raised in support of cancer coaching programs offered through the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation’s Maplesoft Centre.
Congratulations to Team FCI Communications The 2014 Keltic Cup champions have won the coveted Keltic Cup and a trip for four to Cabot Links, Canada’s only true links golf course.
Later that day, Chmiel Architects was pleased to partner with Brookstreet for 12th annual Lumière Gala which raised an additional $126,000 – bring the event’s grand total to approximately $146,000 over its 12 year history. Funds raised at this event will also support programs and initiatives – including survivorship and research – at the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation (ORCF).
The red-themed Lumière Gala, which included a VIP sponsor reception hosted by Sir Terry Matthews, was attended by over 670 people, (our biggest year to date) each encouraged to wear a splash of red in support of the ORCF.
Chmiel Architects is proud to have been part of these events. For more information about ORCF’s programs, visit www.ottawacancer.ca
