Chmiel Architects is thrilled to be continuing our relationship with Alterna Savings as Ottawa’s oldest credit union broke ground in Westboro in May.

“Place Alterna”, scheduled to open in 2015, will be located in the heart of Westboro Village as part of BridgePort Realty’s Westboro Connection project.

A Chmiel Architects team, led by Associate Elaine Yee, B.Arch., OAA, LEED AP ID+C, will provide an innovative design for Alterna’s newest state-of-the-art facility that will echo the multi-use design elements they created for Alterna’s Ottawa flagship branch which opened at Place de Ville in September of 2013. The new space, reflecting the community in which it will thrive and the clients it will serve, will boast an open design to enhance its members’ experience and engagement.
