Canadian Forces Recruitment Centre Fit-Up

This project involved the fit-up of 1,500 sq.m. of retail space at 240 Sparks into the public face of the Canadian Forces Recruitment Centre. The fit-up involved revising a bare-bones retail space into a fully realized office space, with testing and medical facilities, interview and enrolment rooms, showers, washrooms, and office space.

Our team felt that the visible downtown location for the centre deserved a strong presence, accessible from both the street corner and the interior mall. The use of bold ceiling design, bright linear fixtures and custom millwork makes the space feel welcoming and engaging. We worked with the established look and feel from the other recruitment centres throughout the nation, and built upon the material language to ensure the Ottawa location had a unique character.
