CARLETON UNIVERSITY RENFREW HOUSE & RESIDENCE COMMONS UPGRADES
This project involved building upgrades to the Renfrew House Student Residence and the Residence Commons building. The Residence Commons building was upgraded to incorporate a new “hotel-style” reception desk with office space, a modernized central lobby, renovated public washrooms, as well as refreshed students’ association offices and “Abstentions” retail store. The renovations to Renfrew House Student Residence included modernized washrooms with new fixtures, accessories and finishes, upgraded doors and wireless card access security, revamped fire alarm system, electrical upgrades, conversion of heating system to steam with instantaneous hot water, and refinished stairwells.
