The Fifth + Bank apartment building is a seven-storey urban infill project connected to a two-storey heritage building located in Ottawa’s Glebe neighbourhood. The site is located on the east side of Bank Street between Fourth and Fifth Ave. The project consists of 163 luxury apartment units, two floors of underground parking and multiple building amenities including a lounge, dining room, prep Kitchen, fitness gym and dog washing station. The project contains two interior courtyards on the east and west sides of the building that not only provide outdoor and entertainment space for the tenants but also help transition the building scale down to the adjacent low-rise residential community. The building architecture consists of a two and three-storey brick podium that conveys a townhome aesthetic consistent with the character of the neighbourhood. Above the podium, the upper floors are terraced back and clad with a light-coloured ironstone block and grey metal panel.
