Chmiel Architects was retained by Smart! Centres to design a Class “A”, five (5) storey office building complete with an adjacent two-level parking structure. The site is a suburban retail mixed use site with existing “big-box” retail buildings. Careful attention was paid to the integration of the building into the local fabric of the streetscape, as well as that of the other retail uses on the site. Ground floor occupancy is mixed use retail / office tenant, while floors 2 -5 are primarily office space.
