McArthur Island is situated within two blocks of the Carleton Place town center yet surrounded on all sides by the fast flowing waters of the Mississippi river. The island has retained much of its original forest, and includes one of the few remaining stands of native hackberry trees which will be retained as the island condos are developed. The project consists of a 49 unit, 7-storey condominium building, situated over a single level indoor parking garage on a forested 14 acre site. All units will have unique river views access to walking trails and the downtown core.
