Chmiel Architects is proud to mark the start of construction at 797 Richmond Road, a 9-storey mixed-use residential development with a rooftop amenity level that will introduce 71 modern apartment units, a two-level underground parking garage, and enhanced accessibility to Ottawa’s west end.

A Vision Rooted in Connectivity and Accessibility

Situated directly across from the future Westboro LRT station, 797 Richmond is designed with transit-oriented living in mind. The project will provide residents with immediate access to rapid public transit, while also contributing to the long-term revitalization of Richmond Road.

The building features accessory retail at the ground floor and residential floors above, capped by a rooftop amenity level that includes a common room and a landscaped garden with expansive views of the Ottawa River and the Gatineau Hills. Its articulated façade combines masonry detailing with contemporary aluminum paneling. Residences are complemented by private balconies and access to the rooftop garden, while two levels of underground parking support the homes above.
